Hi Marty, I was wondering if you might do a video on how to make a photo look like the art from a 1930’s Goudey baseball card?

Tried to use this but do the same in affinity hoot but settings are totally different! Pity. Can you do the same tutorial but for affinity photo instead? 😊😊😊

Used most of this tutorial to reimagine actors for a hypothetical remake of the 1987 Beauty and the Beast TV show. Thank you so much for making, because my paint job I was trying didn't satisfy me! This worked with Clip Studio Paint. Only difference, I used a snow leopard image and wanted to keep the white coloring...sort of (it blended into the skin I guess when I tried different effects?), so multiply didn't work. Either going to go with linear or hard light for more striking image. I'm amazed, thanks for all the help! I'll link back my video when it's finished.

Marty, great tutorial, however, when I go to the Filter Gallery and use Halftone Pattern, it turns the face black, it's done this on every photo I've tried. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

At 9:34 the instruction is to open the displaced file and it is supposed to distort the text. It is not working for me. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong and if there is a different way to do it. (I'm using photoshop CS6)
